Welcome to April's Travel Club -  We're going to Maui!

Meet me in Honolulu!

As the past few months we have been busy on city breaks I thought it was time for some relaxation, sunshine, cocktails and knitting with friends.  A beach holiday is needed!

Your playlist for our trip is right here, enjoy!  Maui playlist

But there will be sightseeing too - we can't go all of that way without seeing some of the most wonderful sights in the world. Here's our itinerary.

After meeting at Honolulu airport we take a short flight to Maui.  We are staying in the Ritz Carlton luxury hotel for our break (it's escapism after all) and this is for complete relaxation and rest with a few trips thrown in!.

Day 1
Rest, relax, cocktails and knit, knit, knit!  We can swim and use the spa facilities to totally unwind from our daily lives and stresses.

Day 2
We will set off at a very unsociable time of 3am (!) to watch the sunrise at the wonderful   Haleakalā National Park - it's so worth the early morning start.  High above the clouds we enjoy the most inspirational sunrise.

Having enjoyed a delicious picnic on the route home, it's time to chill for the afternoon and knit on the beach.  At night we will eat by the sea at the Mala Ocean Tavern - delicious.

Day 3
For those of us who want to take a hike, we visit Kaipahulu National Park and enjoy wild swimming in the waterfalls and streams from the Pipiwai trail, amazing!

After hiking it's time for more knitting by the poo before going to the infamous Mama's Fish House Restaurant.

Day 4
An easy day before we take the flight back to Honolulu tomorrow.  In the evening we make our way to the beach to enjoy the culture of the Tales of the Kapa Moe as the sun goes down.  The perfect way to end a magical few days on Maui.
