World Wide Knit in Public Day at Mamie and Florrie

It is World Wide Knitting in Public Day on Saturday 8th June which also coincides with Open Day at Mamie and Florrie.  It seems a shame not to celebrate, so why not pop in and say hello and bring your knitting?   I will be open from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, and if the weather is good, we can enjoy some knitting outdoors!

As this is the Peak District, I will be keeping a close eye on the weather forecast. Currently it does look dry and, fingers crossed, it will be a lovely day!

If you are visiting the area for the first time, there is also the Food and Arts at the Basin Market (you may see posters for the FAB Market - that’s it!) at the Transportation Warehouse at the Whaley Bridge Canal Basin.  There’s also the best kept secret of a wonderful second hand book and music shop in the Transportation Warehouse, so you should spend some time having a mooch there too.

I am also open on Wednesday 1pm - 4pm as normal, so if you can’t make it on Saturday, please feel free to pop along to say hello.

**Please note that my Open Days aren’t a dye studio tour. I do keep my working studio space closed for your safety due to the chemicals and heat sources required for dyeing.  Thank you so much for your kind understanding.
