Welcome to October's Travel Club!
We are meeting in Washington Square Park in New York in Fall, just like Harry and Sally. The iconic scenes of Harry and Sally from the hilariously romantic film When Harry Met Sally are some of the most memorable Autumn scenes in cinematic history.
The Nora Ephron film about two friends who eventually fall in love is just one of those adorable feel-good films we reach for when you just need to relax, knit and laugh.
And so your yarn this month is reminiscent of the colours around the time our two friends meet in Washington Square Park, Autumnal hues with delicate flashes of feminine pink, just like our leading girl, Sally.
However, did you know the film sparked a knitwear frenzy at the time? People went crazy wanting to knit sweaters just like Harry and Sally's. Patterns are available on Ravelry, so you too can knit your own Harry or Sally sweater.

This month I have kept a skein of singles and mohair for myself, my favourite combo, and I am mulling over what to make... a Linus? I haven't made one in a year, which is a surprise!
