It was all becoming a squash and a squeeze, and Mamie and Florrie had to leave home!

This is how I was feeling and how I thought I’d be looking within a few months:

With a yarn business comes a lot of kit, a lot of big messy kit and of course stock, so a few weeks ago the time came for Mamie and Florrie to leave home.  It is time for my home to be a family home again, and to be able welcome my children back whenever they want - even both at the same time!

A New Studio Space

I have taken a small studio not far from my home. This gives me the ability to dye yarn and  build stock for upcoming events, and I would like to be able invite you to visit (when I am not in the process of dyeing).

I’ll be honest too - while working from home it has got a little lonely, so it will be so lovely to see some familiar faces from time to time and talk yarn!

I have started to fill the shelves with stock and get into a new routine.

An Open Day Welcome

This Friday 28th July, between 10am and 3pm, I shall open the doors and you can come and say hello if you’d like.  It is small and compact (bijoux as estate agents may say)  but of course I have refreshments and yarn.

Just drop me a little message if possible to let me know you are coming, and I will look forward to welcoming you in.

Where is Mamie and Florrie?

It is situated about one mile from the National Trust property Lyme Park, so why not visit and take a gorgeous walk around the grounds of Lyme Park too?

If you would like to come and visit or collect yarn from the studio on another day, I would love to see you.  Please do email or phone me in advance as, for your safety, I will be not be opening the studio for visitors when I am in the process of dyeing yarn.

A little Further A Field and Future Events

I will be at Chorlton Market Saturday 19th August too, and you can find all my other upcoming show dates here;  Show and Event Dates

Thank You

It goes without saying that without your support and feedback I wouldn’t be able to keep pushing Mamie and Florrie forward. So a huge thank you!

I am passionate about colour, yarn and creativity and textiles, and want to share this with you because it’s the way we are all wired isn’t it? We love to do and love to make and it’s good to share.
